Semiya Payasam

Yummy traditional dessert

Semiya payasam is a very delicious and easy to prepare dessert. We usually get this dessert with south Indian meals from restaurants. I used to prepare this 2-3 times in a week for my kid. He is a great fan of this dessert (he named this as “nool payasam” 🙂 ). I add some dry fruits like chopped figs, crushed almonds and pistachios while preparing this vermicelli kheer. Dry fruits can make a great snack for kids. Also they will get richness of milkin a single dish. I have tried some nutritious kids special recipes like Beetroot carrot kheer, Carrot shake,Kerala banana shake(plantain shake) etc… Try this recipes and make them happy :).
