Sweet Corn Vegetable Soup


Healthy Soup made with sweet corn and vegetables


Sweet corn is wonderful dish liked by all. We can make lots of variety dishes with corn like pulao,fritters,Cup Corn,Corn Dosa etc… Here I made a healthy soup with corn and vegetables.Hope you all will like the recipe.

How to make Sweet Corn Vegetable Soup

Ingredients

1 cup of Sweet corn kernels
2 Tables spoon of Chopped onion
2 Table spoon of Chopped carrot
2 Table spoon of Chopped beans
2 Spoon of Chopped Green chillies
1 Table spoon of Corn flour
3 cup of Vegetable stock or water
1/2 spoon of Crushed pepper
Egg white of one egg
1/4 Spoon of Butter
Salt as required

Sweet Corn Vegetable Soup Preparation Method

Step 01


Cook corn kernels and keep aside.(cook kernels in a vessel with little water and a pinch of salt or steam the corn kernels.)

Step 02


Heat butter in a thick bottom vessel

Step 03


Add chopped onion,carrot,beans and green chillies. Cook for 5 minutes in medium flame.

Step 04


Mix the cornflour in 4 tbsp of vegetable stock or water and keep aside.

Step 05


When vegetables are done,add cooked kernels.

Step 06


Add vegetable stock,salt and crushed pepper(you can add 1/2 s of vinegar for a sour taste).Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minute.

Step 07


Add the cornflour solution and go on stirring till the soup thickens.

Step 08


Finally pour the egg white very slowly into the middle of the pot.

Step 09


Serve hot.
