Prawns are more tasty among seafood items. Kerala prawns dishes are very famous and delicious. This prawns roast is very delcious and juicy. This spicy roast goes well with rice,chapthi,roti,naanetc… I have already tried some delicious prawns recipes like Chinese Style Prawns fry ,Dried prawns curry (Konchum Manga),Prawn masala,Dried Prawns chutney powder (chemmeen podi),Pepper prawns,Prawns head fry. 1/2 kg of Prawns
1 1/2 no of Chopped onion
2 no of Chopped tomato
4 no of Chopped green chillies
1 tbsp. of Ginger garlic paste
A handful of chopped coriander leaves
2 springs of Curry leaves
1 tbsp. of lemon juice
1 spn. of Chilli powder
1 spn. of Turmeric powder
1/2 spn. of Garam Masala
2 spn. of Oil
Salt as required
Marinate prawns with 1/2 S of turmeric powder,1/2 S of ginger garlic paste,1/2 of chilli powder and salt.Refrigerate for 1/2 hour.
Heat oil in a pan,shallow fry the prawns.
Remove the prawns from the pan,add onions,green chilli and curry leaves in to same oil.saute well
When onion get fried, add ginger garlic paste.stir well.
Add tomatoes. When tomatoes get cooked add all the spices.
Stir continuously in a low flame for 1 minute.
Add prawns and saute well.
Close the lid of pan and cook for 5 min.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
