Easy to make one pot bitter gourd fry
Pavakka Mezhukkupuratti is a common side dish of Kerala. Pavakka/Bitter gourd is a very healthy vegetable. Because of the taste bitter gourd is not liked by all. 2 no of medium bitter gourd
1 no of onion
7-9 no of Kanthari Mulaku/Bird’s Eye Chili
salt as required
1 spn. of Oil
Bitter gourd fry Preparation Steps
Step 01Finely slice onion and bitter gourd.
Step 02Heat oil in a pan
Step 03Add all the ingredients.Mix well and cover the pan.Do not add water.
Step 04Cook for 5-7 minutes in low flame. Stir often other wise fry will stick in the bottom of pan.
Step 05Serve hot with rice.
Note : Taste of this fry depends on how much finely you are slicing the bitter gourd.
