Egg paratha | Baida Roti Recipe | How to make Egg Paratha with step by step photos

Spongy soft egg paratha recipe with whole wheat

This Egg Paratha or Baida Roti is my favorite one. In my place it is known as egg porotta. This is my papa’s special dish. He make this for us especially on EID. He used to make this paratha with maida. I still remember the scene he is making this. He is a perfectionist in cooking. Now I am making this for my family.

Egg paratha is so simple and easy to cook one. Compared to all other paratha recipes like aloo paratha, paneer paratha there is no need of making any masala for this egg paratha recipe. Just make a egg onion mix and pour over chapathi, fold and cook in low flame.

Egg paratha is often made with all purpose flour(maida). But you all know that I am against maida and made this paratha in whole wheat. But I should agree one thing that egg paratha made with maida is more softer than whole wheat paratha.

One of my latest mission has been to avoid all purpose flour from my ingredients list as much as possible and this recipe is the result of that. There are more Gluten Free Whole Wheat recipes that I will be publishing in the coming days.

Check out the step by step description of the recipe with images and don’t forget to post your comments and feedback.
