coconut chutney


coconut chutney is s common side dish for breakfast in Kearala.Coconut chutheny goes well with idli,dosa,appam etc…

Ingredients

1 cup of Coconut grated
5 no of Shallots
1 small piece of Ginger
4 no of Green chillies
1 spn. of oil
1 spn. of Mustard seeds
2 springs of curry leaves
Salt as required

Method

Step 01


Grind grated coconut,shallots,green chillies,ginger.Add salt.

Step 02


Heat oil in a pan.

Step 03


Splutter mustard seeds.Add curry leaves.

Step 04


Switch off the flame,add coconut paste and mix well.

Step 05


Goes well with idli and dosa.
