Chinese Beef Stir Fry
Delicious Chinese beef fry sweet and sour sauce
Chinese beef stir fry recipe with sweet and sour sauce and veggies. Chinese recipes are always mouth watering because of its authentic flavor. This beef fry is little time consuming as we need to cook beef in slow flame. Also we need to make one special sauce with beef stock to make this recipe juicy. I have already tried some Chinese recipes like Chinese style Pepper chicken,Pepper prawns fry,Chinese prawns fry. Hope you all will like this recipes.
1/4 kg of beef(boneless preferred) sliced in to thin pieces
2 no of onion.
2 no of capsicum
1 bunch of celery
1 tbsp. of ginger garlic paste
1/2 spn. of turmeric powder
1/4 spn. of pepper powder
1/2 spn. of chilli powder
1 spn of soy sauce
3 tbsp. of finely chopped garlic
1/2 tbsp. of finely chopped ginger
2 spn. of soya sauce
1 spn. of chilli sauce
2 tbsp. of tomato sauce
1/2 spn. of sugar(optional)
1/2 spn. of vinegar
1 tbsp. of cornflour
Pressure cook beef slices with chilli powder,pepper powder,turmeric powder,ginger garlic paste,soy sauce,2 spn. of oil,1/2 and salt for 15 minutes in low flame till the beef is 3/4 cooked. Take out the beef and keep the stock aside.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the beef slices for 5 minutes in medium flame.
Take out beef from the pan and saute the sliced onion and capsicum.
Meantime heat oil in another non stick pan.
Add finely chopped garlic and ginger. Fry till the raw smell goes off.
Take cornflour,chilli sauce,tomato sauce,soy sauce,sugar,salt and vinegar in a bowl. Add beef stock and mix well.
Pour the mixture to the fried ginger and garlic. Cook for 1-2 minute in low flame.
Add fried beef slices to the sauted onion capsicum mix and stir well.
Add the hot sauce to beef and mix well. Finally add celery and cook in low flame for 1 minute. Serve hot
Garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot with fried rice,noodles,chappathi or naan.
