Chicken Salad | Chicken salad recipe with fresh vegetables


Salads are healthy, satisfying meals on their own or perfect accompaniments to main dishes.


Chicken salad recipe. Salads are healthy and refreshing meals on their own and sometimes accompanied with other dishes. They are very healthy and comfort meal compared to any other dishes. We can prepare salads in many varieties. Salads can made with fruits vegetables,cooked vegetables,meta,cereals etc… I have already posted some salads like Cheery tomato salad,avocado salad,healthy salad,vegetable and fruit salad Chicken Salad is a protein rich and refreshing salad contain many vegetables like cucumber,carrot,capsicum,onion etc…. Hope you all will like this recipes.

How to make chicken salad

Ingredients


1/4 kg of chicken breast
1 medium sized Onion
2 medium sized carrots
10 cherry tomatoes
1 medium sized Cucumber
1 medium sized capsicum
1 cup of lettuce.
1 tbsp. of olive oil
1/2 spn. of crushed pepper
1 spn. of lemon juice
salt as needed
Chicken Marinade
1/4 spn. of pepper powder
1/2 spn. of herb seasoning
1 tbsp. of olive oil
1/4 spn, of crushed red chilli
Salt as needed

Chicken Salad Preparation Method

Step 01


Clean and marinate chicken breast with the ingredients given under “marinade” section. Gently Pierce the chicken using a fork(or cut in to small pieces). Keep aside for 10-15 minutes.

Step 02


Slow cook chicken on low flame for 6-10 minutes with very little quantity of water. Keep aside and allow to cool.

Step 03


Chop all the vegetables in cube shape and add this to a large mixing bowl.

Step 04


Add lemon juice,pepper powder,salt and olive oil.

Step 05


Shred chicken in to thin pieces and add to bowl. Mix well and keep aside for 15 minutes.

Step 06


Serve Fresh.

Note : Salads keep us healthy and energetic always.Try to increase the intake of salad and avoid junk foods and snacks
