Ginger Garlic Paste
Ginger garlic paste is one of the main ingredient in Indian cooking. We use ginger and garlic in most of the curries. It is not only for taste but good for digestion also. Preparing GG paste for curries each time is always a headache for us especially working women. Now a days we are getting ginger garlic paste in supermarkets. But nothing beats home made one. If you are ready to spend 10 minutes in weekend or something, you can make homemade GG paste at home itself. If we prepare it and keep in refrigerator, we can use it for 2 week. I used to add little vinegar along with the ginger garlic paste. You can also use turmeric instead of vinegar. Some people also add oil instead of vinegar. If prepare it in weekend, we can use it for whole next 2 weeks.
How to Prepare Homemade Ginger Garlic Paste
Garlic 2 cup
Ginger 1 cup
Vinegar 1 1/2 spn.
1 spn. of oil(optional)
1.Clean and peel ginger ad garlic.
2.Chop in to medium pieces
3.Put ginger and garlic together in grinder and blend to coarse paste.
4.Transfer to a bowl and add vinegar and oil. Mix well.
5.Store in glass bottle. Keep in refrigerator. It is better to use within two week.
