Cleansing or detoxification is the process of discharge of toxins. Toxins are the harmful substances accumulated in the body. Cleansing helps to keep our body healthy by removing the toxins. There are many ways to remove toxins from our body like dieting,fasting etc… We can also remove toxins by drinking juices,avoiding specific foods and eating particular in a healthy way.

1. Gooseberry

Gooseberry is a wonderful fruit which helps to detoxify our body. It enhances food absorption, balances stomach acid, fortifies the liver, nourishes the brain and mental functioning, supports the heart. Gooseberry juice on empty stomach flush out all the toxins from the body.

2. Mung Beans/Green Gram

Mung Beans is a good energy provider. Mung beans and rice helps to clean intestinal tract and liver.Green gram is one of the best grain that has been praised for its amazing health benefits. The phytonutrients(natural compounds found in plant food) present in green gram fights against virus and infections.

Pressure cook 1/ 4 cup of rice,1 cup of mung bean,3 cup of water,1/4 spn of coriander powder,1/4 spn of cumin powder,1/4 spn of turmeric powder,1/4 spn of pepper powder,5 cloves of garlic and salt for 15- 20 minutes in low flame. Once it is done mash well with a lade and serve hot.Continue this diet for one week. Limit the intake of junk foods during this period.

3.Lemon

Lemons are in rich in Vitamin C and many other nourishing elements.Drinking lemon juice on empty stomach detoxifies liver. Lemon juice on empty stomach also reduce weight faster. Lemon also prevents the formation of free radicals and there by eliminating toxins from our body. The biggest health benefit of lemon is it helps in digestion of food.

4. Garlic

Garlic is a wonderful spice which is used in medicine thousands of years back. Garlic is not only provides a nice aroma in food but also helps in digestion of foods. Drinking 1/2 a lemon ,3 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 pinch of salt in warm water on empty stomach washes away toxins from body. Garlic is a best health supplement for cleaning blocked arteries.

5.Turmeric

Turmeric is known as the king of spices in Ayurveda. Turmeric is very useful for reducing the thickness of blood and therefore prevents the blood clotting.Turmeric helps to empower the cells of liver and kills the poisons substances. 6. Cucumber
